After the secession of the 13 Southern States, they collectively draft of the Confederate States Constitution, the document was then ratified by the States, and went into effect once Jefferson Davis took the Oath of Office on 22 February 1862.  When our Confederate Armies surrendered, and our nation fell under occupation, the Confederate States Constitution was never rescinded.
 
Additionally, when President Jefferson Davis was later captured by Union Forces in Georgia and imprisoned, he never apologized, nor did he take the Oath of Allegiance to the Union.  While our Confederate Armies did indeed either surrender or else simply disband, the nation itself, the Confederate States of America never surrendered, nor was it disbanded in the similar manner as it was created.

Therefore the Confederate States of America remains unto this day, a nation under occupation and subjugation, and the Confederate States Constitution continues in effect unto this day, but is in a state of suppression.  All that is needed to reactivate the constitution, and to restore our nation is for there to be a scenario whereby the nation is liberated from occupation, followed by Confederate States National Elections.

The member States and territories need only leave the Union without the formalities of a second round of Secessions, since the original Articles of Secession where rescinded as a result of force of arms, occupation and subjugation, they remain in effect, though like our constitution, they are being suppressed.  After the liberation, only the individual member States can call for Confederate States National Election!

We in the 21st century assume that the States would never do such a thing, therefore it could never happen, however, the individual States are subject to the will of ‘we the people’ of the Confederate States of America.  Therefore the mission of the Confederate Cause is and must be, to appeal to ‘we the people’ and gain their favor, they in turn will elect the proper people to their State Legislatures and Governorships.

State Politicians have one purpose in mine that is not principles and ideologies, but rather to remain in power, thus we should not be fooled into believing such people have an allegiance to the Union that is above and beyond their desire to stay in office.  There should be no doubt whatsoever, those very same individuals who now ignore or condemn the Confederacy and its symbols, will at such a time embrace them.

There are those who believe they can reconstitute the Confederate States Government by simply declaring them selves to be, the Government of the Confederate States, when in truth this is a fallacy.  The Confederate States of America and its government is a product of ‘we the people’ and of the Confederate States Constitution, and according to its provision, we the people elect those who hold public office.

We the people acting through Confederate States National Elections, arranged by the individual member states, can and will, fill the now valid but vacant seats in the Confederate States Government!  Inasmuch as there has been no Confederate National Elections since 1865, due to the occupation of our nation, our Constitution thus lays dormant, and the offices provided there under are indeed presently, valid but vacant!

Quite frankly any corrective action will require a dynamic, charismatic and determined leader, who will step upon the world stage, according to the divine providence of Almighty God, in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.  Until such a time should come, the Confederate Legion does not recognize any group, by whatever name, which claims to be the Confederates States of America or the Confederate States Government.

In like manner the Confederate Legion does not recognized any group, which claims the right to accept or deny Confederate States Citizenship, a duty and responsibility never granted to the private sector, under the Confederate States Constitution.  Properly elected officials will deal with all such issues at the proper time!

It would behoove those who love the Confederate Cause to use a little common sense; do you really trust a relatively small group of people, out to promote their own agenda, over that of ‘we the people’ of the Confederacy.  The Confederate States of America will be liberated and the now valid but vacant seats in the Confederate States Government will be filled.

Consider this, what then will those individuals who have proclaimed them-selves to be the Confederate States Government do then, when our true government has been seated.  Will they continue the fallacy?  Many have paid money to these people for Citizenship, a citizenship, which they have no power to grant or deny.

What do they do when the masses support the Confederacy and have that same citizenship, without having paid?  Use common sense, when the legitimate Confederate States Government has been seated, do you really believe it will come about by a hand full of the self appointed, or by action of  ‘we the people acting through proper agencies?

There is only joy here not animosity here, and a desire to see the Confederate States of America liberated and its government restored, in the proper manner.  The modern Confederate Cause has been divided since it was launched in the early 1990’s, otherwise we would already be much further down the road to liberation.

I think we can wait a short while longer for Almighty God to bless, according to his grace and divine Providence!
