Cold Steel
Welcome Onboard!
Seeds of War Grandfather Clock
Shall the Confederate States of America be liberated through peaceful means, as is our prayer or will the last resort once more be reduced to cold steel?
"Governor, if I had foreseen the use these people desired to make of their victory, there would have been no surrender at Appomattox, no, sir, not by me. Had I seen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox with my brave men, my sword in this right hand." --- General Robert E. Lee - as told to Texas ex-Governor F. W. Stockdale
“And then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. {Matthew 24: 10} “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. {Matthew 24:12}. “For when they shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a women with child; and they shall not escape.” {I Thessalonians 5:3}. “And they shall turn away their ears, and shall turn unto fables.” {I Timothy 4:4}. Does any of the aforementioned sound familiar; it should? While it is true these and numerous other scriptural verses point to the end of the age, they also well describe the final days of so many empires and nations.
The Confederate Battle Flag is not the symbol of a nation, but the banner of its warriors; it would behoove our enemies to seek its true meaning from the historical record, rather then to discover to late, why it is called a battle flag.

"We could have pursued no other course without dishonor. And sad as the results have been, if it had all to be done again, we should be compelled to act in precisely the same manner." --- General Robert E. Lee. We may indeed be required to act in precisely the same manner, however this time surrender will not be an option.* * *
“A question settled by violence, or in disregard of law, must remain unsettled forever.” --- Jefferson Davis. The issue of our unalienable right to choose whom shall rule over us, and what nation shall be ours, will inevitably be revisited on the battlefields of a future war, should the ongoing peace strategy prove a failure. These battlefields may regretfully be our city streets!

While the clock's pendulum swings, the opportunity for a peaceful resolution is fading away and time is running out!

"The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena." --- Jefferson Davis
“Would that I could have said to my soldiers, resist, and hang out our banners on the outer wall etc! But the day of retribution has not yet come when we shall be able to satiate our spirit of revenge on those fanatics and radicals of the North. When ever it does, we shall make them drink of the poisoned chalice to the very dregs . . . maybe a counter-revolution would be necessary.” General P.G.T. Beauregard.
The previous is an historic quotation and nothing need be added or subtracted, save that today we might include Scalawags and Traitors to the reference concerning the North. Plus we do make positive allowances for Copperheads, Northern Confederates, Friends and Allies of the Confederate States of America; to these we extend our gratitude! But there is one certainty; that day will surely come wherein ‘those people’ shall indeed drink of the poison chalice, however it will be one of their own making.
We like to believe that in studying history, in particularly regarding the rise and fall of empires that some things would be gleaned from the experiences of those who have gone before, however it is regretful, the mistakes of history are repeated in every generation. Never has a series of ancient scriptures described so apply a people and nation of modern times. But like the empires of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome the empire in which we live is even now setting the stage whereby they will make their own contribution to those rumors of wars, as quoted in the previously paragraph. Only this time it will be the rise and fall of the United State of America, and that by their own hand.
"We could have pursued no other course without dishonor. And sad as the results have been, if it had all to be done again, we should be compelled to act in precisely the same manner." --- General Robert E. Lee
