The Confederates in Gray advocates only lawful and peaceful methods, therefore this mini website is for the purpose of simulating if possible an example as to how a the Confederate States Armed Forces might be reborn or reconstituted in modern times. The technology and times in which we live is a world away from that which our Confederate forefathers faced, none the less there are some similarities, as well as much to be learned from their experience. Allow me to state from the beginning that the Militia System as we have known it over the past century is antiquated and out of date, therefore militias are not the topic of discussion here.

These series of web pages under the title of ‘Confederates in Gray’ attempt to present the great ‘what if’ meaning ‘what if’ the liberal society of our occupation forces implodes upon itself, which is quite possible in the not to distant future. Please do not expect any overt suggestions to be made, but rather by example and perhaps a few stories, these concepts can be added to your own ideas. The Confederates in Gray web pages will be expanded from time to time, so you are invited to return for future updates.
The Confederates in Gray should be looked at as ‘Plan B’ to be implemented if as expected, the political efforts of the Confederate Cause falter in complacency and compromise. It is believed this present society will eventually collapse inward upon itself, like unto an implosion. When that occurs there will be anarchy and lawlessness on a colossal scale. The political cultural options of our cause will have been exhausted and the only choice remaining will then be the military option. Then everyone's focused will be on survival, rather then standing on the sidelines spouting platitudes, which will no longer be possible at that time. In the interim we advocate only lawful and peaceful methods!
