Could it really happen?

It would be a serious mistake to assume that because there is no organized, trained and equipped modern Confederate States Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Military Border Patrol that somehow it is never going to happen. Massive Armed Forces have sprung out of the general population numerous times throughout history and will do so again. It is equally as presumptuous for our occupation forces to glorify their own victory prematurely when there is no certainty whatsoever the War for Confederate Independence has fully run its course. On 4, 5 and 6 June 1992 the Confederate Society of America held its first convention and a statement was made, which may well assume a totally different meaning then was intended at the time.

It was said in a private conversation; "It is as if the Confederate Armies are mustering out in front of this convention hall, they are even now prepared to march and all they lack is leadership." After a moment had passed a small addendum to that statement was added; "Given enough provocation, they may well march off to war without our present leaders." Back then the statement was used as a metaphor for our political cultural armies, but those words might well come back upon us in an entire different scenario, that of real and modern Confederate Armed Forces. In my view force is never justified except where all other option has failed, whereby life, liberty and the exercise of our unalienable rights are at stake.

There is therefore no wish whatsoever to see a deviation from lawful, peaceful and honorable methods. Still, the option of choosing this particular course of action could be disrupted and caused to pass out of our hands much sooner then we might wish to believe! We have many militias scattered throughout the width and breadth of the land but there exists no real Confederate Armed Forces other then a few scattered die-hard members of the Confederate Warrior Class A number of these have indeed formed militias, but how effective they may have become is anyone’s guess. None-the-less history never tells the complete story and this is certainly true regarding the period from the end of the War for Confederate Independence to our present time.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that events have already occurred which are unknown to the general public and therefore not to be found in the history books. Among these events have been those occasions where the War for Confederate Independence has once again came frighteningly close to erupting into open hostilities and bloodletting on a colossal scale. However these are stories which are best told in private and among friends who are well known to each other over many years. Those who are keen enough to read between the lines are aware that it is totally possible for the pendulum to swing very quickly in another direction whereby our liberties must once more be defended by force of arms.

It would be a critical mistake to assume that high quality military leadership is not or will not be available to the Confederate People. Including leadership having earned their rank in war and possessing tactical genius and military prowess. It would be equally erroneous to believe that given certain conditions which are already coming into alignment that massive numbers of Confederate troops would not be made available. Those who cannot believe it came frighteningly close to happening in the twentieth century will never believe it very possibly could take place today. That a situation could quite easily develop in the not to distant future, which will make war inevitable!

All that is required is for a sizeable portion of the Military Officer Corps to become convinced that liberty and honor compel them to oppose that which they have heretofore sworn to defend. Such a switch in loyalty would be justified if it becomes apparent they have been betrayed and their choices are reduced to either continuing to support tyranny and despotism under what has become a pretense of constitutional democracy or to stand in defense of liberty under the Confederate Battle Flag and Navy Jack. We Confederates, Southerners and Copperheads must therefore at all times take the high ground! We will inevitably succeed in the political cultural arena or else general conditions will deteriorate to where the military option is no longer considered unthinkable. The options are ours for the present, but they are already beginning to slip away from our grasp!

Let us close the subject with this observation; the largest assembly of men, weapons and support facilities are already positioned within the borders of the Confederacy. This includes research, manufacturing, energy sources, including medical and food production! Everything necessary to give the Confederate States of America the ability to defend itself very effectively. What if those people's continual drift into despotism and tyranny should cause all these to fall into Confederate hands, including a shift in loyalty on the part of an overwhelming majority of both the general population and the military? It can't happen you say? Those who would answer in the negative are not aware of just how close this very scenario came to happening in the twentieth century.

Even if one should discard all the above we still have the growing mince of world terrorism which our occupation forces have thus far been unable to deal with effectively. It may well become necessary to use Confederate tactics and strategies. Once the door is reopened and such a force is reconstituted, the process can never be undone or reversed. This scenario would begin to unfold should the general population loose faith in those peoples ability to provide them safe haven. It is not only possible but likely these world terrorists in tempting evil are sewing the seeds of their own destruction as well as causing the tide to eventually shift in favor of the Rebirth of the Cause.
