Why is Jesus better than Santa Claus? "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears." (II Timothy 4:3). "When time shall have softened passion and prejudice, when reason shall have stripped the mask from representation, then justice, holding evenly her scales, will require much of the past censure and praise to change places." --- President Jefferson Davis |

"Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil." (Proverbs 3:3-7).
Santa lives at the North Pole. Santa rides in a sleigh. Santa comes but once a year. Santa fills your stockings with goodies. Santa comes down your chimney uninvited. You have to wait in line to see Santa. Santa lets you sit on his lap. Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is, Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly. All Santa can offer is "HO HO HO" Santa says, "You better not cry." Santa's little helpers make toys. Santa may make you chuckle. While Santa puts gifts under your tree. Put Christ back in Christmas. For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. —John 3:16 |

Merry Christmas Christmas is not about Santa Claus, who is merely a children's fairy tale character, but is about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name given among men, whereby we must be saved." {Acts 4:12}. There is none other religion or clerical leader which can substitute for or render forgiveness, save Jesus Christ, the son of the living God, the Almighty God, and certainly not a fairly tale character named Santa Claus. Have a very 'Confederate Christmas' and a 'Happy New Year' |
