Confederate Reminiscence
Like a war weary soldier, haven’t you ever looked back upon the Antebellum South and the Confederacy, seeking perhaps a small respite, if but for a season, that you might be refreshed and strengthened, in preparation for the battles ahead. On occasion, those of us who love the Confederate Cause have all set aside that special moment to contemplate, those more pleasant times. O if only I could but roll back the pages of time, afterward pause for a while, and enjoy the grace and splendor!
Perhaps for a short space of time, enjoy a society dominated by Christian Confederate Gentlemen Warriors, and they’re Ladies Fair, a society where crime was extremely low, and morality was commonplace. An age when the term family spoke of a wonderful biblically based love between a man and woman, bonded together and married for life, as well as their children. A time when the central text in our schools was the Holy Scriptures!

The Confederate Standard
General Robert E. Lee’s words are as true today as they were when he spoke them so long ago: "Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious, we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for."
