A Pleasant Day in the Park
                                Wednesday 4 July 2012
.

Greetings, I am George McCullum and this is my story, as it unfolded!  It was Monday 2 July, my wife and I had not taken a vacation in years, so we decided to do a little exploring, maybe get off the beaten path and see something different.  So come Tuesday morning we packed our car and got an early lead on the rush hour traffic!  We hoped to be well up Highway 231 from the Gulf Coast at Bay County Florida, before we were blocked in by bumper-to-bumper traffic.  By 7:30 that morning we had already crossed the Alabama line into Dothan.  In all of our years of travel, which was mostly on business, we had seldom taken the time to just, enjoy a pleasant journey; it seemed as though we had always been in a rush to get somewhere.

.
We headed toward Montgomery at originally then turned off the highway toward Anniston Alabama located in Calhoun County, the County seat, having an estimated population of 25,000 and part of the Anniston – Oxford Municipalities.  They have a beautiful national park nearby, which adds to the serenity!  We arrived in the area around noon and decided to check into a motel on the edge of town, have lunch then drive around and take a look at the local scenery.  We discovered a beautiful City Park with an open Veranda located approximately in the center; we discovered there would be a 4th of July celebration in that very location.
.

There were picnic tables scattered around about and tables set up along the perimeter, apparently something very special had been planned for the local 4th of July celebrations.  After scouted around for about four hours we decided to stop for coffee and perhaps a light meal before turning in for the night, we located one of those rare Mom and Pop Restaurants; probably among a precious few in the country still open for business.  We decided to ask about tomorrow’s celebrations from one of the waiters or else perhaps the owner; just maybe it would be something staying in town to see.
.

So we settled in for an old fashioned cooked meal of meatloaf, peas, along with mashed potatoes and gravy, as well as a fresh brewed cup of coffee.  After the waiter took our order the owner, a Mr. Marshall Walker, stopped by to see if we were enjoying our meal, to which my wife answered for both of us in the positive.  Then I asked about tomorrow’s activities, and the well-mannered Mr. Walker answered with a modest size smile on his face; there’s going to be a parade at 10:00 O’clock, we always have a parade on holidays.  There will also be antique automobiles, and come 6:00 in the evening these same automobiles, will line the City Park!
.
There will be - then he called to his wife just entering the dinning hall, carrying a tray with two plates of food, Shellie he said, what do you call those people who set up tables and sell things?  “Sutleries” she replied, as she kept on walking!  Yes-continued Mr. Walker, there’s going to be lots of Sutleries a band, quartets, with speakers and lots of socializing.  If you two have the opportunity, you should attend, you’ll enjoy it very much!  Mr. Marshall Walker finally turned and went on his way toward the next table!  Once we finished our meal we headed back to the motel, discussing what looked to be a delightful old-fashioned holiday the next day.

.

July the 4th finally came and we found ourselves along the sidewalk in front of a fast food restaurant, waiting for the parade to begin, and our wait wasn’t of a long duration.  But in the meantime by happen chance we were standing next to a middle-aged couple that introduced themselves as Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Arlene Wheeler.  Arlene and my wife Alice did as women will normally do and began to chatter among themselves about whatever subject came into their minds.  While Joseph, who preferred to be called Joe, gave me the ‘lowdown’ on what we might expect to see in the parade.

.
Joe proved quite accurate, the parade was lead by a High School Band, which had been practicing during the summer in preparation for the coming football season.  There was the Army Reserve, a Children’s group dressed in make shift uniforms, blue skirts for the girls and like colored trousers for the boys, and T-Shirts with a logo.  On and on the parade went, until finally a surprise, at least for me; the locals may or may not have realized what they were looking at, but I did for sure.  According to the banner, which they carried, they were the Anniston Community Church, later I discovered the Church had a regularly scheduled television program.
.

Turning to Joe, I asked about the Anniston Community Church, they seemed to be well supported, considering the numbers of boys they have on the street, and how sharp they are.  Yes indeed George, he responded, they have a Youth Director named Brian Augustus Tappan, he’s very good at what he does, and the kids love him.  As they approached I could see more clearly, they wore a simple uniform, consisting of a gray shirt and trousers, dark blue patch on the shoulders with matching strip down the outside of the trouser legs.  The Church patch was on the right sleeve near the shoulder, and the Alabama Flag on the left.

.
After they had passed us by, Joe saw how interested we both were and remarked, Brian will be at the picnic in the park this evening and he is scheduled to speak, you aught to come.  I looked at both the ladies, then at Joe, indeed we shall, and I didn’t know why, only that something was telling me this is going to be a very interesting evening, every interesting indeed.  As this portion of the parade ended, then came the Antique Classic Automobiles; we all enjoyed the spectacle, afterward my wife and I decided to return to the motel for a respite, and maybe a refresher before the evening’s events.

.
I myself decided to watch the local news on television while Alice occupied the ‘Ladies Room’ until it was my turn!  We were told there would be plenty of food at the park, so we thought it best not to stop to eat anywhere along the way.  Finally the time had come, we drove over to the park then after encircling the area a few times we located a convenient parking spot.  Upon exiting the car we walked about looking at the Sutleries as well as the food tables, until very soon everyone stood quietly in place out of respectfully, as a local Minister offered prayer over the evenings events.
.
Once the music began to play, everything seemed to unfold in a somewhat routine manner, like so may towns throughout the South, there would be several instrumentals, three very different Quartets, which consisted of Gospel and Country Music.  Then the local Master of Ceremonies introduced two different speakers that addressed the assembled crowd, discussing local issues as well as a variety of announcements.  The Master of Ceremonies, then came to the microphone and announced; “now I’d like to present to you a man most of you know extremely well, Mr. Brian Augustus Tappan, Youth Director for the Anniston Community Church.
.
Still there was something different about this entire scenario, but for the life of me I couldn’t put my finger on what it was, I only knew my spirit began to stir, as if the Spirit of God was present.  As my wife and I watch this man we looked at each other, then back at him, as if there were some quality about him, that was still unknown to us.  Somehow the crowd must have felt similarly as the two of us!  As we scanned the crowd between moments of gazing at Mr. Brian Tappan, I was convinced the people were seeing more, then just the kindly Christian gentleman they had always known.
.

We all watched as he walked though the crowd and approached the platform of the veranda; he was a man of modest size, not small by any means, but not enormously large either.  If I were to make a guess, he reminded me of a university or professional football player, strong in appearance, but not muscle bound.  He wore a white shirt and a blue necktie with gray dress slacks, no doubt part of a matching suit; he definitely had an air of commanding presence.  I glanced at my wife once more, who responded in a very low tone of voice, could this be the man, the one Jacob Bernstein, Jerome Goodman and yourself have been expecting.

.
But to our pleasant surprise our old friend Jacob Bernstein had decide at the last minute to fly to Alabama, and meet with us on Thursday the 5th, inasmuch as we had decided to stay over a couple of days to relax.  Nonetheless while we did expect him to be in the crowd this evening, we hadn’t seen him as yet!  I looked back at her again and replied; O come on now honey, it can’t be that easy, the man we are looking for, somehow found living in a nearly unheard of small town in east central Alabama?  We could all see Brian saying a few words to the Master of Ceremonies in a low tone, who then switched him to a cordless microphone!

.

We all noticed one of the ladies on the platform had attached the microphone to his lapel, just as he was preparing to speak!  While the others stepped back out of the way, Brian then moved forward and scanned over the crowd.  Believing his microphone was not yet turned on; he was heard remarking “Precious Lord and Heavenly Master.”  Suddenly the crowd saw what we ourselves could now see, a change came over his countenance, and it was as if someone had turned on the lights in a darkened room.  The crowd knew him ever so well, yet it was obvious they had never seen this side of him, the man they simply knew as Brian or Mr. Brian.

.
He spoke of those things, which had they been discussed openly in private circles, things that might get anyone else escorted from the podium; Brian spoke of standing up for our unalienable rights, by liberating and restoring the Confederacy.  And here in this little town of all places, on the 4th of July, and in the open air of a small town City Park!  Mr. Brian spoke approximate 20 minutes, but they were no doubt the most astonishing 20 minutes I’d ever heard, and to my amazement the crowd was all but mesmerized.  After his speech was over, and as the band struck up another tune, Mr. Brian Tappan stepped down from the Veranda.
.
Unknown to us our friend Jacob Bernstein was even then walking through the crowd looking for us, and believing he had heard our voices, when he crossed paths with Mr. Brian Tappan.  The two exchanged a few pleasantries, then turning our way, Jacob spotted us and invited Brian to join group, remarking that he had a couple of friends he wanted him to meet.  My wife Alice and I spoke for a moment, considering what to do next, while waiting for the evening’s fire-works display.  When Alice spotted Jacob walking toward us through the crowd, accompanied by none other then Mr. Brian Augustus Tappan himself.
.
The two men extended their hands as Jacob introduced Brian to us, “Madam he said to my wife, while tipping his hat, then turning toward me he remarked, Mr. George McCullum I presume.  There was a connection between us and we all knew it, as Brian broke the ice by making an offer to meet, perhaps on the marrow.  Since we were expecting to meet Jacob the next day in any case, we all agreed that Brian should join us, perhaps over a mid-day meal at one of the local restaurants.  While we watched the fireworks that evening, we gradually come to know each other well enough that by the next day, we could speak freely to one another.
.

Our meeting the next day Thursday the 5th could only be said to have been most interesting, inasmuch as we all knew without asking, that Mr. Brian Augustus Tappan was the Prophesied Confederate National Leader, the one we had been expecting.  More then that, it soon became obvious that he was also aware of his calling!  Jacob was the first to boldly and openly question him over the meal that day!  Mr. Brian, he said; you are he, are you not?  After a little small talk, as if dancing around the subject, Mr. Brian spoke of the wrestling that went on within him self, and how many prayers he had sent Heavenward.

.

Then he said, my Jewish name is Levi Ben-Zion, and I feel like I’ve been in a wrestling match with the God of all Creation, and like Moses at the burning bush, I ask of the Lord, why me, and the Lord let me know in no uncertain terms, the choice was His and His alone.  My present plans are to hold an Atlanta Memorial Service, afterward a full fledged Campaign, I’d like the three of you to be present for the Atlanta Services, afterward meet me in Ann Arbor a week later, that is if my strategy works out as planned.  The three of us looked Levi, knowing it was all beginning, and nothing would change what the Almighty God had ordained.

Atlanta Memorial Services
Saturday 1 September 2012
.

It was Saturday and unknown to many, the winds of revival as well as a shift in the political, cultural power spectrum was about to take place!  Due in large part to the growing socialism inflicted upon the people by Washington, a growing number of people had completely lost faith in the Federal Government.  A Coalition of Christian Confederates had made arrangements for the use of the Civic Center in Atlanta so as to hold Memorial Services on the evening just preceding the 148th anniversary of the Union having occupied, looted and burned of the City of Atlanta.  Union forces entered the City on 2 September 1864, after the Confederates had withdrawn the previous day!

.
While an overwhelming percentage of the people were disgruntled with the Federals, still they were more adrift in their thinking then even they realized, lacking the heart to join any particular group.  Mostly the people were drawn to confederate activities such as re-enactments, memorials and the like, seemingly out of a search and a longing for something.  The coming November Elections provided an opportunity to elect new crop politicians, but it would turn out to be at the cost of stalemate.  The feeling was that the elections would reverse or at the very least, slow the progress of socialism, howbeit while offering little promise of satisfaction.
.
The 5800 foot Civic Center was chosen at the time, more out of availability then anything else, and it did seat 4600 people, which given the mood of the citizens, promised to draw a crowd large enough to fill those seats.  Thus the Memorial Services, which were to take place at the Atlanta Civic Center, was not a goal in and of itself, but a place to do a little soul searching.  When the time came, people wander into the Auditorium of the Center looking like war weary soldiers, to long in the heat of battle.  One man was over heard saying to his wife, “If this isn’t the answer sweetheart, then there is no answer, and we are all doomed.”

.

The City Fathers of Atlanta were in no way agreeable to having a Confederate Memorial Services at the Civic Center, but found themselves in a kind of quandary.  Either they allowed them to use the auditorium, or else face a multi-million dollar lawsuit, which would cost the city money they really could not afford to spend.  Notwithstanding, the coming elections in November already favored the Confederates.  This was largely due to the leadership of a man now known as Levi Ben Zion, as well as an atmosphere of desperation, caused by the policies of the present Administration in Washington.  Nonetheless the mood was about to swing in the opposite direction, as the crowd finished filing in and taking their seats, the back and forth discussions began to shift as they looked toward the front of the Civic Center at the closed curtains.
.
The crowd didn’t seem to consider normal at all for the curtains to be closed at the outset of a Memorial Service, but then just maybe that in and of itself signified a pleasant surprise.  They were not left in suspense for vary long, for just as quickly as the last of the crowd had located suitable seating, the curtains pulled back and what the people beheld was awe inspiring.  There was a Confederate background, which depicted a sizeable crowd gathered in praise to our Lord and Savior at a river Baptism, attended by Confederate Soldiers and Civilians alike.
.
In the forward center was a podium displaying a Christian Cross, centered below it was the Great Seal of the Confederacy!  But just behind the podium and spread across the stage were Gospel Singers dressed in Confederate Uniforms.  Just as the curtains were being drawn open the singers burst out in a song titled, “The Tomb is empty, He arose.”  The song was of vary recent vintage and written in the toe tapping, hand-clapping style of traditional Southern Gospel, having been inspired by the Luke 24:2-3, where it says “And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.”  The tomb was empty!  The crowd simply could not remain seated, but simultaneously arose to their feet and added their own voices.  It was obvious this evening was going to be very special, very special in deed!  The singing continued until out on the stage came a gentleman dressed in a Confederate Officers Uniform, all of the Confederate Uniforms that evening, were of the shell Jacket variety, made of suitable material and well tailored.  These uniforms could be said to be modern, yet at the same time distinctively confederate!
.
As he approached the podium, the volume of the singing was lowered just a bit as he spoke; “I am Colonel Whalen Jacobs, the Chaplain of the Confederate Legion.  Please remain standing, while we pray!”  After the prayer by the Chaplain then came the presentation of the Colors!  Down the four isles came the Color Guard, including a forward and rear guard for the Colors, and just as they marched forward a most pleasant rendition of Dixie was being played.  As they moved toward the front of the Civic Center, the four columns came together at the left and right side.
.
They then made their way up the stairs onto the stage, where the colors were ceremoniously positioned toward the audience, then placed on pre-positioned stands.  The flags were placed so the Chaplain’s Flag and the Third National were to the audience’s left side, the Navy Jack and the Battle Flag to the right!  Those who felt like the answer was to be found here at the Civic Center during this Memorial Ceremonies would not be disappointed.  Mr. Levi Ben Zion had taken command of the entire Confederate Cause back on 12 April, this same year of 2012.

.
While he could not be here this evening, personally, he did send a suitable delegation, which well represented not only his command, but also the Cause itself.  There was much singing of both Gospel and Confederate Music, with a compliment of musicians from a variety of the quartets present, which added to the preaching and praying.  But this was only the beginning of what was to come!  The Confederate Cause was growing, due in large part to the arrival on the scene of Mr. Ben Zion, as well as the complete loss of faith by the people, in the Federal Government.

The Heavenly Parade
Friday 7 September 2012

.
The Confederate Memorial Service in Atlanta was to be followed three weeks later, when the Campaign was truly launched!  Levi had dared to open his schedule in the heart of Yankee land, at the Wolverines Stadium in Ann Arbor Michigan.  The stadium seats an astonishing 109,901 people, and he knew the local municipal budget was hard pressed.  The citizens of Ann Arbor would no doubt overcome their distaste for the Confederate Cause, for the sake of the money generated by all those visitors.  However, we were half way between the Atlanta Memorial Services and the Michigan Campaign!

.

I was somewhat bewildered, wondering what came next; filling a stadium once and a while on occasion was one thing, but forging numbers large enough to alter the political, social and economic landscape, well, that was another thing entirely.  It was Friday evening, a week before the opening of the Michigan Campaign, and I was deep in prayer.  It had, for a better part of my life, been my custom to read a portion of Scripture and pray to our Lord and Savior before turning in for the night.  Opening my Bible I somehow opened to the prayer of Jabez in II Chronicles 4:10, and after reading the verse, I began to pray!

.
However, I did not use the personal tense, as did this particular verse of Scripture, but prayed that there be a revival, a sole changing, society altering revival.  “Oh that thou wouldest bless our Cause, and enlarge our influence, and that thine hand might be extended toward us in sending us such a great revival, and that thou wouldest keep our people from the evil, that it may not grieve us!  And I trusted that God would hear me and consider that which I had requested.”  After ending my prayer my mind turned to Romans 10:13 where it says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
.
Then I compared these former verses to Hebrews 10:25, which seemed to me to bear directly upon the coming campaign in Michigan, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”  My mind was beginning to drift, but I do recall turning to the story where Jesus had cast out a foul spirit from a man’s son, and the father replied, “Lord I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” {Mark 9:24}.  As I turned over these things in my mind, I thought to myself “and so it is with me Lord!”

.

I somehow managed to drift away into a peaceful sleep, when suddenly I was awoken from my sleep!  And to this day I cannot tell whether it was all a dream, or else I had actually was awoken and experienced a vision.  But as I seemed to awake and came to myself, I found myself greeted by an Angel of the Lord, standing at the foot of my bed, which both startled and humbled me to where I slid out of bed and fell to my knees.  I lifted up my head briefly so as to be certain that I was actually seeing that which I believed I saw at first glance.  When as I lowered my head for the second time, the Angel spoke to me saying!

.
“O Son of the Confederacy, arise to thy feet and do not bow before me, for I am but a servant of the Most High!  Come with me,” he said, and as he spoke these words, I suddenly appeared properly dressed, where before I was wearing pajamas, it was as if I had never been in my bed asleep.  Then as the Angel turned away from me toward the wall an opening appeared, as if everything earthly had been rolled back, like lighting a match under a piece of paper and watching it burn a hole in the shape of a large circle.  The bedroom walls curl back, and beyond it I could not clearly see at first, save that I followed the Angel through the opening.
.
On the other side I was imparted with the knowledge that I was outside the gates of Heaven itself!  I found myself standing beside our Lord and Savior, though I could not distinctly see Him, but still, I could sense His presence and hear Him when He spoke.  I knew somehow, He was standing beside me.  As I looked and beheld, Archangels were lining both sides of a great boulevard, and there appeared before me long columns of people like unto a mighty army marching before us, and into the Heavenly City.  I could have never imagined prior to this, there were so many Archangels!
.

As the long columns approached and passed by, the Archangels all folded one set of wings over their chest and face, a second set over their lower half, and a third set of wings was folded behind them.  Then I looked the second time and saw, this mighty army seemingly stretched back into eternity, to where I could not see the end of their numbers.  I then asked of the Lord, “Lord and Master, who are these that pass by?   And He said unto me, “These are they which have repented, and were born of the spirit according to {John 3:1-8}, during the “later rain”, and the great revivals that came to pass, as a result of the Confederate Cause.”
.
I looked yet again as their numbers continued to pass by, and I could see, they were from every nation, race and tinge upon the earth, singing haply as they marched into the City, and I noticed the Archangels, every one of them were now bowing at the waist.  I ask once more of the Lord, “Lord and Heavenly Master, why do they bow themselves, such as they do?”  The Lord said unto me, “because, since they have never known sin and defeat, they cannot know of salvation and victory, these that march by, sing a song of salvation and victory, a song which these Angels of Heaven, cannot sing.

.

Do not think that any man’s meager contribution to be unworthy, for just as described in I Corinthians 3:5-8} “some men work to prepare the field, other men plant, and still others tend the crop, but all share in the harvest.”  Then as suddenly as I had arrived I found myself standing beside my bed, as I had been upon first arising from my sleep and seeing the Angel.  I thought to myself, this had to be real, however by sunrise tomorrow I will no doubt think it was all a dream.  Then I remembered what the Lord had said, and I knew I had at the vary least, been carried away in the spirit.
.

.                 The Arrival in Ann Arbor
                        Wednesday 12 September 2012
.
It was only a couple of days away from the opening of the Michigan Campaign when a number of us arrived in Ann Arbor for a last minute check of the enormous Wolverine Stadium, only a few of us were present.  We decided to meet in one of the hotel rooms where we were all staying, for a brief few minutes before stopping by a restaurant, in route to the Stadium.  Levi’s room being the largest having a small lounge area, it was decided to meet in his room!  Mr. Levi Ben Zion, who also bears the Gentile name of Brian Augustus Tappan, Jerome Goodman, Jacob Bernstein as well as my wife, was present in the room.  I had only met Levi once before, in Montgomery Alabama, and still, I was amazed at how our Lord can use certain individuals, in such a glorious manner.

.

But still I had to ask him, “Levi, why begin the campaigns in Ann Arbor, why not Arlington or Austin Texas, perhaps even Tuscaloosa Alabama, where there are large stadiums, why the north in the center of the Yankee Empire?  Levi looked at me and smiled, have you not read in Luke 5:32 where Jesus said, “I came not to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.”  Even as we speak revivals are spreading throughout the Southern States, and indeed we will visit the vary cities you mention.  It is also my plan to take this campaign to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix, among a host of other cities.

.
Levi, are we a Gospel Campaign, a Confederate Campaign, or something else, asked Jacob?  We are all of these and more; we are first and above all else here to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and not to these people alone but to the entire world.  In Matthew 28:19 it says, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”  While we strive to liberate and restore our people and nation, the Confederate States of America, we must first restore its foundation in Christ Jesus.
.
Besides Jacob, with whom would it be easier for us to deal, Christians having been ‘Born Again’ and filled with the Holy Ghost and of God’s Grace, or else Heathens?  Gentlemen, Levi then glancing at my wife Alice, then added, and ladies, we are striving to build not just another nation upon this earth, but a platform and a podium, for what I am convinced of the Lord shall come to pass, the greatest world wide outpouring of the spirit, since the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Did not the Apostle Paul say; “…whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
.
In Acts Chapter 2 and verse 4 we find Joel’s Prophesy fulfilled, in what the Scriptures call the early rain, “And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”  Now glancing at Jerome once more, Levi continued, we have arrived on the eve of the later rain, “…for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the later rain…” {Joel 2:23}.  Once again, touching on the subject of the later rain of which the Scriptures speak!
.

I’d like to emphasize, that in submitting to the will of God, the Confederacy will become the podium and the platform, as our Lord Jesus Christ has always intended, an instrument in his hand.  We shall indeed restore the history, heritage, culture and nationhood of the Confederacy, but first we must rebuild its vary foundations in Christ Jesus.  Jacob looking about the room as if studying our reaction, began to reply; “then we are a political, cultural as well as a Christian movement, and all of these at the same time.”  Everyone in the room spoke almost in unison, in a nod of their heads and an Amen!
.
                 The Michigan Campaign
                             Friday 14 September 2012

.
The day finally arrived, it was a Friday evening and the air was filled with anticipation!  All of us fully realized there would no doubt be a measure of protest, even resistance to what was being billed by the mass media as a Confederate Revival.  Those for and against the Confederates coming to Ann Arbor, all filled the parking lot surrounding the enormous stadium.  This place was so huge; I couldn’t help thinking of the Coliseum of Rome!  Under the Roman Caesars, Christians were put to death, in all kinds of horrible ways, but in our time, we have come to the Yankee Caesar’s vary doorstep, to preach salvation in Christ Jesus.

.
Our fiend Levi Ben Zion wanted to enter the stadium in the same manner as everyone else, so we parked and walked across the parking lot toward the stadium.  There was Jerome Goodman, Jacob Bernstein, Levi Ben Zion and myself George McCullum; the ladies had already arrived earlier, and would have likely taken their seats by this time.  As we walked along we mostly engaged in small talk, commenting on how far the Confederate Cause had come, after so many years of division and stalemate.  But more then this, we could all sense the presence of the Holy Ghost, and in our spirit we all knew, this would be a very special evening.

.

As we made our approach, a host of ‘Aides to Levi Ben Zion’ awaited so as to escort him through the throngs of people and onto the large platform, which had been built in the middle of the field.  The crowds of people filled the outer passages of the stadium as well as the field itself, so a make shift pathway was cordoned off by an army of individuals assigned to provide security, not-with-standing a heavy police presence.  As we entered the stadium itself, we all glanced about, and I could hear Levi remarking in a low tone of voice, “so many people, help me O Lord, to do they will this evening.”

.
Immediately a spirited rendition of our beloved song Dixie began to play, which brought a smile to all of our faces, the massive throngs of people that packed the coliseum arose to their feet.  As we approached the platform, the three of us were guided to our seats adjacent to our ladies, as Levi Ben Zion, the leader of the entire Confederate Cause climbed the steps of the platform, and onto the pages of history.  He stood in the middle of the platform, while an aid pinned a cordless microphone to his lapel, then he lifted his arms in the air and called out to the people; “Bless the name of the Lord, invite Him into our presence this evening!”

.

As he stood there, he appeared like a powerful Evangelist as well as a Politician, but it was plain to see, not every one in Yankee land was approved of his being here.  The crowds filled every seat in the coliseum, including additional seats that had been placed on the field surrounding the platform, with thousands more taking advantage of the remaining space left over for standing room only.  Network cameras could be seen throughout, and untold millions were tuned in via cable, satellite and broadcast television, as well as radio.  Even now ‘Computer Online Services’, I Pod and Cell Phones were also carrying the Campaign worldwide!

.

As Winston Churchill might have said on such an occasion, “in all the annals of Confederacy history, let it be said, this was her finest hour.”  While Levi continued speaking, an organ that had been placed on the platform and wired into the public address system, so it could be heard, and it began to play a Gospel Hymn that would prove to be almost a theme song of the campaigns, “He arose, He arose, the tomb is empty He arose.”  Immediately, the entire congregation of people arose to their feet and began singing!  Those that were unfamiliar with the hymn soon caught onto the words and joined the others.
.

The singing went on for a good while and finally when it began to subside, Levi’s Chaplain approach the podium, himself wearing a cordless microphone.  The Chaplain, and indeed he was more then a Chaplain, for he was known as a God fearing, spirit filled Evangelist in his own right, who’s name is Walcott Winslow, ask everyone to remain standing while he gave the opening invocation.  Afterward, the crowd was surprised and even awe struck by a spectacle no one had anticipated; from the north end of the coliseum came a real professional Confederate Marching Band, dressed in modern but distinctively Confederate Uniforms.

.
The Base Drums bore on both of their sides the Great Seal of the Confederacy; the band was lead by a Color Guard and a Drum Major like none ever seen.  At the same instant from the South end of the Coliseum entered The Gideon Battalion, whose uniforms and demeanor can only be said to be the, best of the best.  At the east and west entrances could be seen two halves of the same unit, which came to be known as the Confederate Patriot Guard
.  The Patriot Guard was in effect the beginnings of a Confederate Cadet Corps, and all of them were in fact, University Students.
.

The Guard was organized as part of a new University Fraternity, and they looked every bit as sharp as would a company of West Point Cadets, while on pass and review.   The Confederate Marching Band entered playing a catchy tune that was later referred to as the new Confederate Fight Song, which indeed had a marching cadence, very likeable lyrics, which stirred the hearts of the people.  The atmosphere about the coliseum was truly inspiring to say the least, later reports stated, “People just couldn’t stay seated at seeing what was taking place!

.
In businesses, homes and recreation areas, wherever people gathered, the Confederate Ann Arbor Campaign seemed to be on every channel, as people worldwide viewed what was taking place in the City.  The Gospel singing as well as the Confederate Patriot music and song carried with them, an enormous spiritually!  As the tone of the singing, guided by the spirit, began to gradually lower in volume, Levi once again stepped forward.  Then looking out as if his eyes could see far beyond the coliseum, he said; “This Campaign is being carried to the people here in Ann Arbor, the State of Michigan and indeed the entire world.

.
While gathered here for the Michigan Campaign, we also reach out to the six billion plus people, many of which are viewing this Campaign by telecast via satellite.  The platform had been built on two levels, which included a lower portion that surrounded the main level like a walkway!  Then as if called by the Spirit of God, the organist and the various Quartets and Singers gathered on the lower portion so as not to block the view of Levi as he spoke.  The soft music of the organ began to give off the sound of an old fashioned Evangelical Revival, as they played ‘Pass me not My Gentle Savior’ in a low tone.
.

Levi continued; “while it is true, we have come here to promote the Confederate Cause, we are not here to constitute a nation without Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  As the organist plays and the singers lend their voices, I reach out to you the listener, in every nation and tongue upon earth.  For “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” {Acts 4:12}.  I have not come before you in mine own name, but in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for He and He along is the only name given.

.

Whether you be Jew, Gentile, Bond or Free, whatever the name of your country, kingdom or empire, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the king of God, {John 3:3}.  We must be born not of flesh and blood but of the Spirit of the Living God!  Suddenly an aid by the name of Henry Dubose approached Levi, even and whispered in his ear, Levi, he said there’s been automatic gunfire in the parking lot.  “Has anyone been injured, asked Levi?”  No replied Henry, two men sprayed gunfire in every direction from AK-47’s and by a miracle of God, no one was injured or killed.
.

Levi was about to give directions to his aid when just the two men were seen running, each of them down a separate isle of the coliseum, someone in the crowd yelled “drop down, they are armed with automatic weapons.”  The men continued down the isle and stood in front of Levi and those standing on the platform, the one at each corner.  One of them appearing to be their leader screamed, “not here in Michigan, we fought and defeated you Gray Coats once before and we will do so again.  We don’t need the Confederate Cause or your Bible Thumping here in the North.”

.
The crowd had done everything they could to get out of the way, some laid on the floor or the ground, while others ducked behind seats.  One of Levi’s Security Guards approached him, “watch out Levi, they mean business!”  Allow me to handle this, remember God is with us, if there be any violence, it is in His hands.  There’s a time to fight with arms, but this is a spiritual matter!”  Levi walked across the platform and stepped down onto the lower walkway that surrounded the main platform.  Both of the armed men wore ski masks over their head and face, so they couldn’t be identified, but Levi could see they were stout, athletic type men.
.

As he began to approach a place on the platform where he would stand approximately in the center between them, they both lifted their weapons to there firing position and prepared to spray the place with gunshot.  But Levi reached out his right hand in their general direction and said a short prayer, “Precious Lord, I lay this in your hands O Jesus our Savior.”  Suddenly the men appeared to be frozen in place whereby they were motionless.  Levi looked in the direction of several Ushers that had come forward; so as to see more closely what had taken place, wondering within them selves what had happened to the two would be assassins.

.

Upon approaching them one of the Ushers, a man named Paul Trimble, called to Levi, they are frozen in place sir, their fingers still on their triggers, but not depressed.  Levi responded, “very carefully take the weapons from them, bring them forward and hand them to me.”  The Ushers removed the weapons with ease and carried them forward; also removing their masks, so all may see their identity.  The men now unmasked began to stir out of their condition and they seemed surprised at the situation in which they found themselves.  Levi seeing them awaken called out, lead them forward and have them stand here before me!
.
As the two would be assassins along with four Ushers approach Levi, the police also arrived on the scene, thinking to cuff them and lead them away, but Levi though otherwise; “Officers, allow me to speak!”  The officers without further consideration paused and responded in the affirmative!  While Levi was speaking to the two men, the organist began to play “How Great Thou Art” in a soft and very low tone, the entire congregation taking the lead, began to lift their hands toward heaven, knowing they had witnessed a miracle.  Levi bent down and looked at the two men before him, “would you kill these innocent people including myself!”

.

One of the men looking directly into Levi’s eyes, asked, how did you do that to us?  Levi paused and held his folded hands up to his lips for a moment then responded, “What you have experienced here today is of God, and not of men.  Within myself, I am nothing but a servant of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.”  The two would be assassins began to quarrel among themselves, the one saying to the other, “I told you we shouldn’t do this, that something would go wrong, but you insisted, now look at the trouble we are in.”  An Officer by the name of Joseph ‘Joe’ Pender then intervened!
.

Mr. Ben Zion, we must arrest these men and take him away, you’ll need to finish up; as Levi began to stand to his feet, he said, “all right then Officers, take them away.”  Levi carefully handed the two AK-47’s down to a Police Officer named John Payne, who while looking up at him commented, “I’ve never seen anything like it, how on earth these men sprayed bullets everywhere, and no one injured or killed.  Then they come charging in here and end up being captured by unarmed Ushers!  Must have been a higher power involved here!  Indeed, replied Levi, the Almighty God Himself through the power of the Holy Ghost!

.
As the Officers cuffed the two men and lead them up the isle and out of the building, the people stood in amazement at all that had taken place.  Levi returned to the main platform and began to address the congregation, while openly praising God, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  As he did so they all knew, that save for a miracle of God, many of them as well as Levi Ben Zion himself would now be dead!  These events had beyond any doubt, changed the course of the Confederate Movement, forever!  If there were any lingering doubts in anyone’s mind that Levi was called of God, they had now been laid to rest!
.
I thought I had come to know this man we called Levi Ben Zion, who was part Preacher of the Gospel, Politician and even Military Leader, but obviously there was more to him then I had at first thought.  Even now as he stood on the platform, there appeared to be a ‘Cloud of Glory’ surrounding him, and it seemed to extend outward in all directions across every level of the coliseum.  I knew within my self we were not only seeing the beginning of a liberation movement, but also the beginning of something else.  While we still had a long road ahead, still our faith was increased by these events!

.

We all knew quietly within ourselves, we were seeing the beginnings of what would eventually prove to be the greatest Christian Revival in history, whereby the Almighty God in Christ Jesus, would call out one final time in this dispensation, to a world heaped in degradation, sin and perversion.  We were seeing the early stages of God’s Last Worldwide Alter Call, before the end of this age.  On the Global News Network, a special report was being aired, and the News Anchor, a man named Andrew Stevens, made a comment that seemed to echo the true nature of what was transpiring.

.

“Those who formerly believed the Confederate Cause to be the Lost Cause, have been proven wrong for the ‘They Have Returned’ and more numerous and stronger then before.”  My wife and I look at each other, and then lifted up our arms toward heaven as we stood there, knowing the place was filled with the presence of the Holy Ghost.  I had no doubt whatsoever, that the world was seeing and experiencing that same Spirit as those of us gathered here in Ann Arbor.  I looked about, scanning this huge arena, what I was seeing is a witness of God’s Divine Grace and Providence, there must have been 120,000 people in repentance and prayer.

The Pendulum Shifts

Friday 21 December 2012

 ..

The results of the Ann Arbor Campaign had proven a pleasant surprise, even to those of us having served the Confederate Cause from its beginnings, more then 22 years earlier.  There was something in the air, nothing that could as yet be proven; it was as if the pendulum of political, economic and cultural power had shifted in favor of the Confederates.  Over the following six months the Campaign traveled over the winter months to places like the Super Domes in Houston, Atlanta and New Orleans.  Followed early spring by Campaigns in open air Coliseums at Tuscaloosa Alabama, Austin and Arlington Texas.
.
While these Campaigns were the centerpiece of Levi Ben Zion’s efforts in behalf of the Confederate Cause, there was another date that seemed to demonstrate that a shift had indeed taken place.  On 21 December, Children and Teenagers across the South as well as the mid-west poured into their schools carrying a copy of the Holy Bible in their backpacks.  And on cue, according to a well-orchestrated strategy, they all arose to their feet simultaneously upon the opening of their first morning class.  A Prayer was offered in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and pledging to commemorate the true Story of Christmas, in public and in private.

.
Those who had believed that 21 December would bring on some cataclysmic event, were proven correct, but not in the way they had formerly believed.  ‘We the people’ had reclaimed their unalienable right to decide for them selves what manner of society, government and nation would be theirs.  But more then this, they had reclaimed their right to express faith in the One True and Living God in Christ Jesus, the Holy Scripture and in Prayer, both in public as well as in private.  After a show of faith in so many classrooms, and in so many states, the students returned to obedience, but not before a reading from the Holy Scriptures.
.

The verse chosen in every case was Acts 4:12, where it says “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby ye must be saved.” {Acts 4:12}.  The long prophesied worldwide revival was indeed underway as was the ‘Rebirth of a Nation’, the Confederate States of America began to unfold.  Given such overwhelming numbers, which were standing up in opposition to the usurpation of power in Washington, the Yankee Empire began to crumble.  It hadn’t taken long for the various State Governments to realize the power had indeed shifted!
.
On Tuesday 9 April, the 148th anniversary of the surrender of our Confederate Armies at Appomattox Courthouse Virginia, Levi Ben Zion held a rally on the grounds where the surrender took place.  The park was crowded with people who gathered at the now famous McLean House, where with the Mass Media was present in droves, as he stood there he proclaimed the surrender to be null and void.  As Levi stood that day looking out over the huge crowd of people, he was handed a parchment where upon a calligrapher had penned the Confederate Proclamation of Independence, now baring the official signatures of the 16 States.
.

The crowd lowered their voices and began to concentrate on what would proved to be the official end of 148 years of occupation, subjugation and cultural genocide.  Levi began to speak, “I have been handed a signed copy of what is now the Confederate States Proclamation of Independence, which bares the signature as well as the Great Seals of the original Confederate States, as well as Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma.  Each of these States has passed into law a copy of this document, thus the document bears the signature of each of their 16 Governors.

.
There are 18 official copies of this proclamation, one for each of the 16 States, one for a Library, which will be dedicated to the Rebirth of the Confederate Cause.  The 18th copy goes to the now reseated Confederate States Government, which has resulted from recent National Elections, and is even now scheduled to assemble for their first secession, in the City of Richmond.  Levi paused, and then he began to read for the first time in a public arena, the Proclamation of Independence.  The crowd remained silent until he had finished, then there followed an outburst and a thunderous applause.
.

Meanwhile in the City of Boston, the leaders of the remaining States were gathered for the purpose of officially bringing down the Yankee Empire, instituted under President Abraham Lincoln.  Their convention had declared that every amendment after the 12th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, whether agreeable or not, had been added as a result of force, thus must be purged.  The Grand Old Republic was already in the process of being reborn.  A new U.S. Government would assemble in Washington, under several new amendments, crafted to assure strict adherence to the limited powers granted by the people of the United States.
.

Three day later on Friday 9 April, I stood along the walkway of Monument Row in Richmond, as divisions of armed Confederate Troops marched by in a pass and review, before their new Commander in Chief.  After the Parade, my wife and I were transported over to where we standing at the foot of the Capital steps, where President Elect William Henry Helm took the Oath of Office.  The process of liberating the Confederate States of America was finished, and the Confederate Cause vindicated, by the Grace of God.
.
I slowly walked up the steps toward the President, shook his hand and then stepped back, looking up into heaven as I stated, “O Lord, I have fought a good fight, I have finish my course, I have kept the faith, it is finished.”  I turned and walked down the steps, and entered into my own private automobile, which had been brought forward by associates of Levi Ben Zion.  As I drove away my wife and I looked at each other and without saying anything, for we knew, our mission was over.  Other very capable Citizens would complete the restoration of our economy, government, culture and nation, as well as the writing the history of our time.
