This article will discuss among other items the inflammatory issue of race; in doing so it should be made clear, Confederate Cause believes in true equality, however the present day Civil Rights Movement as constituted, in and of itself is racist and bigoted, quite naturally in favor blacks.  Equality translated into action must mean equality and equal treatment for all, minus favoritism or special considerations.  Present conditions are most regretful; none-the-less the truth cannot and should not be denied for the sake of political correctness.  Therefore those of whatever race wishing to join the Confederate Cause should understand, no matter how we address the issue, some will disagree; mine is simply to relate the truth. The Confederate Cause has as its ultimate goal the achieving of Confederate Independence; a public discussion on the race issue can certainly be entered into afterward, in a forum of ‘we the people’ rather then by unselected imperial federal judges.   

When there are no threats to the life, property or personal honor, even the cowardly can assume the mantle of a patriot and stand in our midst, howbeit for a season.  However when life and liberty must be defended, we soon discover how quickly reality, clashes with the façade we often construct around ourselves.    This is a time of social and political cleansing and an upheaval of everything we have known; when ordinary men become giants, while others we thought to be mighty, fall from grace.  

But in what way, you might ask, will these turbulent conditions refer to here, come to pass?   No one can know precisely, none-the-less Devine revelation as laid down in the Holy Scripture, added to numerous historical examples can teach us some things.  The United States is already ten trillion {10,000,000,000.00} in debt and those numbers are increasing at the rate of billions every single day.  The U.S. Dollar amounts to nothing more then a valueless promissory note, backed by noting, save to make payment with additional promissory notes.

If a nation is to survive over the long term, it is essential for the people to have faith in the institutions of their own government; opinion polls show the people’s trust in their government at an all time low.  Interestingly enough, the U.S. Congress has the lowest ratings, afterward the President and only the mass media holds a lower poll rating then either.   While the nation slides ever deeper into the abyss, the government itself continues to be its own worst enemy, by destroying the very pillars upon which the nations stands.   .

There is another potentially deadly area likely to cause a deadly upheaval; unlike another the nation has experienced which is diversity.  The ‘Civil Rights’ movement supposedly pursued equal treatment under law, however now they have turned to affirmative action and accusations of racial profiling.  The trail of a black man under criminal charges is no longer considered legitimate, unless blacks are well represented on the jury.  Black institutions are acceptable, even desirable, but considered bigoted and racist, if they are for whites!   

A true implementation of equal treatment would demand all civil rights laws as well as political correctness and diversity be abolished.  True equality rests in the exercise of our unalienable rights; equality in practice means no special treatment, therefore we all take our chances, whether we speak of the market place, education and employment or else in our own personal relationships.  If our prisons by chance are imbalanced by a population predominated by one race over the other, then the problem is likely in their criminal behavior, not in the system.  

When I was 39 years old, I am now 66, having retired from active military service I sought employment in civil service; the answer they gave me upon application was this “we are employing black males, only blacks and better yet female blacks.”  Any black person having received a similar answer regarding whites, particularly from a branch of the federal government, would have the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, coming to their rescue.  But where is the equivalent organization for the advancement of white people?   

We are either for equality under law or against it; if it is discriminatory for one race it is the same for all races.  If we favor one race over another through affirmative action, diversity or quotas by whatever name, then it is bigoted and racist for all others.  If we consider laying the penalty of slavery and segregation upon this present day generation is considered justified, then many of us have a bone to pick with the descendants of the ancient Roman Empire for having enslaved our own forefathers.   

It is well past the time for all of us to drop the race card and let each individual stand or fall based upon his or her own merit!  The true Americans, the Indian Nations, were nearly driven into extinction by the mass push westward.  Where is the National Association for the Advancement of Red People?   We must bring the ‘Civil Rights Movement’ to an unconditional halt or else a terrible catastrophe waits at the door.  Afterward allow its leaders to seek gainful employment on their own merit without federal intervention.   

Whatever the original Civil Rights intent, its purpose has been lost in a world of political correctness, diversity, personal aggrandizement and affirmative action.  Those who believe the modern day Civil Rights Movement will continue into a seemingly unending future are caught somewhere in the twilight zone.  The right of domestic governance rightfully belongs to the sovereign States, for better or worse, as does all issues relating to race.  Once the federal government usurped power in this area, they became part of the problem, not the solution.   

We are speaking here of issues which may likely cause severe turbulence, possibly even a social upheaval, thus we cannot ignore the people’s dependency on the federal bureaucracy.   We have become dependent on the federal government in every area of our lives; welfare, social security and health coverage are but a few.  They have become our personal guardians like unto a mother, father as well as a human zookeeper.  The United States Constitution was once a check on federal power, now it has become a sword against the people.   

The great masses known, as ‘we the people’ are nowhere near being the moral pillars of society they were at the outbreak of the great depression.  Today, if a similar economic crisis took place, society would quickly break apart into roving bands, rioting, burning, looting and ravaging for food; added to this scenario would be millions of desperate dope heads ready to kill for a fix.  The U.S. Military preoccupied with policing the world, would not be able to muster sufficient numbers of men and material, therefore would be unable to restore social order.   

Those who are not old enough to remember, the public school system was once safe and provided at least a minimal education; the worst crime reported during the 1950’s was chewing gum in class.  While the schools were indeed segregated they were at least safe and students could in most regions, walk home alone safely.  The rate of failure was minimal and those graduating from High School achieved a high school level education.  The school system is now more interested in the student’s self-esteem, then in providing an education.     

Most of the people are well versed in the latest technological toys, but in a crisis far to many would be unable to function without their gadgets, which would likely be the first item to fail under such a scenario.   How many from this generation of people could get milk from a cow or know which ear of corn is eatable.   It is likely they’d starve, even if food were readily available for the taking!  

We have a growing percentage of our women who have become so accustomed to ready-mixes and prepared, packaged foods, they would be helpless without them.  How many could prepare a meal from separate ingredients or identify them in their natural state? Why is this important, because we have shifted from being a nation that produces abundantly most of its own food, clothing, automobiles and other items, to where we are now dependent upon foreign imports?  What happens when the already valueless dollar collapses and these imports are no longer available?   Already we see the States beginning to assume the roll of controlling illegal immigration due to a federal government, which will not take action.  You can be certain; the areas where the States must assume control will likely grow!  

Let us be realistic, our survival for the present time, is dependent upon the Federal Bureaucracy, particularly their monetary system; how can we survive should a major disaster befall them?  The answer lies in organizing and doing so quickly afterward, this is where Confederate Patriotism becomes into the picture.  Most problems are better resolved by consolidated groups of people acting together.   When monetary systems fail, bartering becomes necessary, alternative energy sources and other necessities can also be provided by a cooperative.  

When this present nation and society have fallen into chaos, the liberation of the Confederate States of America will then face its greatest opportunity.  Those who bring civil and social order out of confusion the quickest, will more then likely become the new political and economic power brokers, once some degree of normality has been restored.  This means gaining control of a new monetary system, the distribution of food supplies as well as other necessities of life.  At first this process will mean survival, afterward it means the rebirth of a nation! .

The nation in which we presently live is intent on its own destruction, brought about by ignoring the vary building blocks which bind a nation together and provides strength.  The traditional family, the Almighty God in Christ Jesus, the Holy Scripture and prayer, certainly top the list of strengths.  There are also pillars in society, without which a nation cannot long endue: a sound monetary system, a reliable government structure, police and military power as well as the ability to provide the necessities of life, from within their own borders.  

The meaning of the term Confederate in the real world, is more then merely the name for a people and nation, though these are truly important to those of us who believe.  The term Confederate relates to an ideal and a way of life, but more then this, it is a manner of thinking, which sets them apart from everyone else.  It is a belief in individual responsibility and self-reliance as well as limited, restricted and restrained government, which respects the sovereignty of the States and the peoples right to self-governance.  .

There is no one able to predict with any preciseness, how conditions will unfold once the collapse take place and the Confederacy is finally liberated, therefore this article simply represents an individual assessment of the situation.  Issues such as abortion, Almighty God, the Holy Scripture and prayer in public schools, dress codes and more will pass from federal authority at that time.  Many colleges and universities will be reclaimed; liberal, socialist professors as well as judges, who have reaped havoc upon society for generations, will be dismissed.  

On that day homosexuality will once more be considered a sin and an abomination against both God and man, illegal immigration through all of our borders will be dealt with in the proper manner.  Terrorism brought upon the people by the A.C.L.U. and the Civil Rights Political Machine, will terminate and the Confederate Government will truly defend our borders.  Even more those State bureaucrats, who refuse to take decisive action, will find themselves seeking employment in the private sector, and they won’t have the federals to use as an excuse. 

What is being stated here is that it is time for all those who claim to be members of a minority race to face reality; there is coming a day wherein the race card simply will have outworn its welcome in society.  When the population as a whole will have grown weary, for better or worse.  Each of us in the end must be responsible for making our own way in society, even in an imperfect world.   It is true the South owned slaves, but they did not send ships to Africa and bring them here, a task which was carried out by northern merchants and bankers.   

Therefore if there is any repentance for slavery, let it rest upon those of the north who transported them, then sold blacks into slavery.  And let them return all the profits made from the slave trade in today’s monetary values, to the descendants of those who purchased them, as a partial reparation for the devastation caused by the war.  Slavery was an institution of its own time, under a reactivated Confederate States Constitution, no none-slave can be made a slave and no slaves can be imported into the Confederate States of America.   

Our Confederate States Constitution will likely be amended for clarity and for the sake of those who refuse to accept the obvious.   Slavery as an institution would have certainly ended, even had the Confederacy won its independence, except that it would have done so minus the death of approximately 660,000 men and the serious wounding of 1,200,000 more, not-withstanding the devastation of so many lives, homes and cities. Those who wish to continue the blame game let them look in the mirror at their worst enemy!   

The issue must be allowed to rest in peace or else the provocation will eventually cause a bloodbath in some future generation.  That horrible war, fought so long ago, will never truly be over, until the Confederacy wins its rightful independence and the issue is closed forever.  Let it be known to everyone concerned, there will be no political correctness, hyphenated Confederates, no European-Confederates, African-Confederates or Hispanic-Confederates, only patriotic Confederate States Citizens; one people and one nation of sovereign States.    

There is an even more critical area, which could very well contribute or possibly cause the collapse, that being the manipulation of the ballot box by the federal courts, special interests as well as an accumulation of so many tyrannical laws.  State constitutions have been overturned which once provided for State Senators to be elected from fixed geographic areas.  This tended to balance the distribution of political power between the urban and the rural, however since that time rural areas have been left to the mercy of the mega-cities.   

The U.S. Constitution was amended after ‘the war’ by arresting those State Delegates, which voted against the 14th amendment, and disqualifying anyone from voting, which had supported the Confederacy.  This meant that between 80 and 90 percent of all white voters where rendered unqualified to vote, thus assuring the ratification of the 14^th amendment to the constitution.  This becomes critical because it made the federal government the arbiter of its own power and subjugated the states to their whims.  .

The dominant political parties, the Democrats and Republicans, gradually made third party entries into the election process so difficulty; it all but doomed any chances of their achieving victory.  Thus the concept of a free and open election has become a mockery, whereby even the special interests are beholden to the power elite of the two parties.  Additionally, this process has also meant that only the rich, famous and powerful can hope to raise the funds necessary for waging an effective campaign; the blessing a major party is essential to victory.   .

Conditions will change when the empire collapses; only a few items can be listed here!   States will regain their own identifies; the Confederate States Constitution does not have an interstate commerce clause and the States are sovereign.  All domestic affairs revert to state control, including licensing or regulating of radio, television and the entertainment industries.  States will once against be able to regulate, if they choose, pornography, vulgarity and gratuitous violence for example over television, radio and the movies.  The mass media may loose their license by refusing to drop the liberal bias and exert a measure of responsibility, restraint and patriotism. .

Those things, which require the cooperation between two or more States, can be best handled by an inter-state cooperative; an example would be Emergency and Disaster Relief, now provided by the Federal Emergency Management Administration {F.E.M.A.}.  Another would be Conservation and Restoration of Natural Resources!   The Electrical Power Grid and River Management would be additional examples of inter-state cooperatives.  The Board of Directors of these inter-state cooperatives would no doubt be the purview of the member States, thereby giving them the control and flexibility they lack with present day federal mandates.   .

State Citizenship will return to common use and State laws may be enacted which will alter business incorporation making these industries more loyal to nation, State and local communities.  The contents of public school textbook will no doubt change, reflecting a more conservative Confederate view of the various topics.  Traditional English will be taught, meaning certain terms dreamed up for the sake of political correctness will be dropped.  Confederate history, heritage and culture will again become dominant with their being taught in the public schools; this will include the Southern Accent, which will vary to a degree according to State.  .

The Confederate States Constitution does not allow for welfare on the national level, the States are free to decide on the issue as may seem appropriate in their own eyes.  This also means businesses cannot be forced under national law or regulations to provide special provisions for the disabled.  Again, this process comes under the domestic governance of the individual States and would include mandates for wheel chair ramps, books or special website programming for the blind are a few examples.  Providing services for the disable is a wonderful thing, but it is not the business of the federal government to mandate them upon businesses or individuals.  

Some changes will become obvious very quickly; for example there will be no federal highways; all highways will be State, Country, Perish or Municipally owned.  The Confederate States Government, like the United States will need military installations; more then likely these properties will be leased from the State rather then ceased, as is the practice under present conditions.  The end of federal laws and regulations will mean many products will become cheaper in price and there will be boom in new businesses.  It is very possible that a move will be launched to use reparations to secure the retirements of those who become Confederate Citizens.   .

The Confederate States Supreme Court and any lower courts, when appointed, is far more restrained then the Federal Court System of the United States and they can more easily be place on trial for a usurpation or an abuse of power.  Among those issues affected is that Christianity in some form will probably return to the public schools, possibly prayers, Bible reading and the open celebration of Christian Holidays.  We will see the name Christmas come back into use, along with the Story of the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  This does not mean creating a theocracy, but it rather the reaffirmation of our unalienable right to freedom of worship.          

This present empire will fall, of that there should be little doubt; indeed it has already outlive the age of empires.  Shall we assume that somehow because the word ‘empire’ does not appear in its title, that it is something else?   When any form of government chooses to retain a people or state within its domain by force of arms, rather then via the ballot box, that system is certainly not a Democratic Republic.  Like empires of past ages, this one has a beginning, a zenith as a world-class power and finally it will be relegated to history; it is very possible a number of northern and western States may wish to restore the Grand Ole Republic, howbeit much smaller.     .

Ultimately empires are about force, overwhelming, unbridled, military force; our job is to out wit force through lawful, peaceful and honorable means.  None-the-less, every empire throughout history had abundance of military power and to spare.  The Roman Empire was a colossus astride the known world, with military forces capable of take whatever they wanted, but where is the Roman Legions today; dust and broken monuments are all that remain.  Force will always have its time in the sun, then pass into history; we will stand ready! 

We as a separate and distinct people will either be the first to bring stability and structure to a society in chaos as well as to liberate and restore our own nation or else we will be subservient to those who have; there is no third option.  Only the foolish and the unwise believe a collapse will never take place and that conditions will continue pretty much on course; such people gamble with their own future as well as that of their posterity.  The world that follows such a collapse should Confederate Patriots fail will be a nightmare come to pass! .

The now valid but vacant seats in the Confederate States Government will be filled through national elections arranged for that purpose.  The opening secession of the new congress will consist of no fewer then 106 or more then 109 members of the House of Representatives and 26 members of the Senate.  The Confederate Senate will grow as a new Southern Culture and economy is developed within the then collapsed States of the United States.  Our President serves six years and cannot be reelected; many more items could be mentioned. .

Let us close with this; more then half the States now have some type of organization, which is either devoted secession, or else liberation and the numbers who support our cause is growing.  It is no longer a question of if a large number of States will secede or liberate themselves, but when.   A growing number of critical issues are alienating the federal government from the people and constitution they are sworn to serve.  Behind the scenes people holding a variety of opinions are coming together, with little more in common then leaving the union.   .
